Reporting Portal
As part of their work to meet the commitments of the Tech Accord some signatory companies are providing a means to report deceptive AI targeting elections to the company. This page includes links and instructions on how to report.
How to report by company
Anthropic
In February, we announced our partnership with Democracy Works, a non-partisan organization that provides authoritative election information to voters. Under this partnership, when a user asks an election-related query on Claude.ai, a pop-up will appear offering the user the option to be directed to TurboVote, a site that provides voters with up-to-date information about state and federal elections. We deployed similar protections in the lead-up to other elections globally. In addition, users can report deceptive or misleading election-related content by emailing our Trust and Safety team at [email protected].
ElevenLabs
We take misuse of our AI voices seriously and have implemented processes for users to report content that raises concerns. For example, we provide a webform through which users can identify their concerns and add any documentation that will help us address the issue. We endeavor to take prompt action when users raise concerns with us, which can and has resulted in permanently banning those who have violated our policies.
GitHub
Users can find our content feedback, reporting, and appeals tools at our Transparency Center.
For concerns related specifically to Gemini and AI Overviews in Google Search, users can submit feedback using the in-product feedback mechanisms available on both.
For legal issues, such as potential copyright violations, users can also submit removal requests through our Legal Removals form.
Political candidates and parties can flag deceptive AI election content to LinkedIn through the webform at the Microsoft 2024 Election Deceptive AI Reporting Page.
In addition, any LinkedIn user can easily report deceptive AI election content directly on the site by clicking on the three-dot menu associated with all user generated content.
Microsoft
We are committed to safeguarding our services from deceptive content like deepfakes that alter the actions or statements of political candidates or alter the facts around election processes that inform voters where, when, and how to vote. That is why we created our 2024 Election Deceptive AI Reporting Page. This form is intended to address deceptive AI-generated media appearing on Microsoft consumer services that:
- may materially affect you and your candidate’s electoral campaign; or
- may materially mislead the public about election processes, possibly resulting in disenfranchisement
Meta
When users report false or misleading information on Facebook, Instagram, and Threads, we include an option to flag generative AI content. User reports are a critical component of how we run our scaled integrity systems, in combination with our third party fact checkers and around 40,000 people globally working on safety and security, and more than $20 billion invested in teams and technology in this area since 2016.
